Build an Electrophorus to light A small bulb

Learn How to light a small bulb with static charge. Construct electrophorus by taping the Styrofoam cup to the center of a pie pan. Charge the pie pan then separate the leads of the Neon bulb and tape one end to the edge of the pie pan. The neon bulb will clearly glow when you touch the free end of the bulb, readily indicating typical static electric charges.
