Solar Energy, Ovens, & Sweet Treats

Solar S'mores!

In this hands-on, drop-in activity, children and their parents will learn how to make a solar oven using a small box, black paper, foil, and plastic wrap. Then, they will harness the sun's renewable energy to cook a s'more in their new oven. Families will learn about renewable energy, albedo, and UV energy absorption.
