Poetry at the Piper Writers House

Hand with a pen on a blank, lined notebook page. A cup of coffee sits in the top left corner.

Join us at the Piper Center for a day of poetry! There will be an assortment of pre-made DIY miniature models to browse and visitors will have the opportunity to select one to write their very own ekphrastic poem, which is a form of poetry based on visual art. Get your creative engines running and use the scene to tell a new story! We will also have treats and a typewriter poet offering custom poems. Tours will be available at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Don’t miss out!
