Sweet Treats and Solar Ovens

See how to put the power of solar energy to work for you to make delicious sweet treats. Bring your kids to build solar ovens and set them outside to make melted s'mores - and observe the power of the sun! They can experiment with different colored papers to see which absorbs more heat to melt their s'mores the fastest. Also, kids can make bracelets that change color in UV light. We will do experiments with sunscreen to see how well it blocks the UV rays from the Sun.
