This evening, join us for a theatre outing. Indian School, written by Esther Almazan, tells the story of Charlie, a Vietnam vet, who returns to his Yaqui village to mourn the death of his son. There, he must face his isolation from his Native culture and his traumatic childhood in an Indian School. With the help of his family and his determination to give his grandson a better life, he confronts his past and calls on his ancestors to heal him. For ages middle school and above.
