Located in Mesa in the heart of the dynamic East Valley, the Polytechnic campus is home to students who are exploring professional and technical programs. The 600-acre campus has approximately 56 buildings in use for academic programs and student services. The Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport borders the campus on the east, along with Chandler-Gilbert Community College. SanTan Village, a regional shopping and dining complex, lies three miles west.

During this activity, students will learn about how our eyes process color by 1) using M&Ms to illustrate how our eyes process different colors of the candy, 2) using crayons to illustrate how colors look for people with different color vision deficiency and 3) learning what makes different colors more eye catching and 4) drawing/writing on a shared design space. The facilitator will have on eye tracking glasses during the activity to illustrate where the eye is drawn to in terms of color.

The GHOST Lab is both an experimental testbed and art installation with robots, motion capture cameras, and theatrical sound and lighting. Learn about our experiments developing socially intelligent AI using Minecraft, testing AI as a teammate in a virtual Unmanned Aerial Vehicle teamwork task, and developing an AI assistant for complex distributed teams.
