Phonic Vibrations
6:00 pm to 6:15 pm

We have learned from recent scientific studies that energy is always present, even if motion is not. We will be using a dancer to compose an interactive improvisational piece to converge the physical and digital realms of art and technology. This is a piece driven by the self creation and discovery of sound, science, and emotions by using the energy presented by the dancer. This is an experience that allows the dancer to take control of composition, structure, movement, all while creating a storylined soundscape.

Emerge: Artists + Scientists Redesign the Future
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Emerge unites artists, engineers, scientists, storytellers and designers to build, draw, write and rethink the future of the human species and the environments that we share. To accomplish this, we challenge pioneers, changemakers and futurists from a variety of fields to respond to the question “what kind of future do we want to create?” In short, ASU is determined to break down the barriers between those making the future and those thinking about what it all means.
